Tuesday 24th May

Great day for the Twenty Syndicate yesterday who had another winner at Sligo yesterday with Isabella Liberty, it’s the 2nd time she’s won for them and before her they owned Broughtons Bandit a dual winner who was placed 4 times and ran at Cheltenham for them, they have been so lucky!

Beautiful day here at Cullentra House Stables, the Club horses are all in good form – they all love the sunshine!

No runners today so a welcome chance to catch up on paperwork!

Friday 20th May

10 runners at Downpatrick today including 2 for the Club!

FARAWAY MOUNTAIN is up first, we were happy with the improvement he showed last time out and it looks like his little break did him the world of good! Keith Donoghue is in the saddle.

NORDIC BEAT makes his Club debut, he’s come on so much for his break he looks like a different horse! Today is about gathering some more insight to him and he’ll no doubt come on for the run fitness wise but we hope for a good run all the same, he’s been doing plenty of work and lots of schooling and we are looking
forward to seeing him run! Cian Collins is on board.

AS DE FERBET is next in the Handicap Chase with Bryan Cooper on board, his last run wasn’t fantastic but he’s got a good chance on prior form.

CHATHAM HOUSE RULE has been running well over fences so far and his jumping is improving, we hope he can get a little closer today under Bryan Cooper.

BROKEN SOUL contests the Bumper with Luke McGuinness in the saddle. Yet to win a race but he shows some ability, he’s a big horse who will come on for his runs.
