Thursday 14th July

Great to have a treble at Downpatrick yesterday! Just the 2 runners today at Killarney:

THE PLAN MAN is first in the Beginners Chase with Bryan Cooper in the saddle, he’s been 2nd on his 2 efforts so we hope he can go one better today!

BARNEYS STORM makes his racecourse debut in the Bumper with Luke McGuinness on board, he’s a fine horse who goes well at home and we hope for a nice introduction.

Wednesday 13th July

Hi everyone,

I am back from a lovely break, I feel like I’ve been gone for much longer than a week – I have lots of catching up to do!

Thanks to Dean and Lisa for holding down the fort while I was away!

ISABELLA LIBERTY has been a superstar for her owners the Twenty Syndicate, we hope she can go close again today in the Rated Hurdle. Jack Kennedy rides.
THE PLAN MAN is next in the Beginners Chase, 2nd on his yard debut – we hope he can go one better today! Bryan Cooper rides.
QUINNSBOROTEMPTRES – Paddy Dunne both represent us in the Bumper with both riders taking off a valuable 7lb.

Saturday 2nd July

8 runners at Bellewstown today:

Both CLARCAM – Bryan Cooper and TOCORORO – Jack Kennedy contest the first, Clarcam has had a resurrection of late and we hope he can continue his efforts, Tocororo is always very consistent, nearly always finishing in the money.
We also have 2 in the Maiden Hurdle BELLAS ROCK – Jack Collins and ROBIN DES MANA – Luke Dempsey. Robin Des Mana runs for new owner Brendan Scully.
SEEYOUALLINCOPPERS contests the Handicap Hurdle, he fell last time out at Limerick but he lives to fight another day! Jack Kennedy rides.
BLUE EMPYREAN has been steady progress since leaving the Point to Point scene and he won last time out. This is his hurdling debut here today and we hope for a clear round. Keith Donoghue rides.
ZANOUSKA takes on the Handicap Hurdle, she ran very poorly on her seasonal return last time out but we hope she has come on for the run and can improve today. Kevin Sexton rides.
TAKEITTOTHELIMITS is our Bumper runner for new connections, she won very well on her debut and Luke McGuinness keeps the ride claiming a valuable 7lb.

Friday 30th June

Fantastic to have the Clubs first winner yesterday at Perth – Well done to all involved!
7 runners today over 2 meetings:

Wexford:

Our own STEADY MAJOR is up first in division 2 of the Handicap Hurdle, we hope for a better run today – email to follow for members!
LUCY MC is next in the Mares Maiden Hurdle with Kevin Sexton in the saddle, she’s back under rules today after a spell Point to Pointing.
BLESSED KING tackles the Maiden Hurdle, he’s consistent enough but yet to win a race we hope he can get his head in front today!
We have 2 of the 14 runners in the Beginners Chase; CECIL CORBETT – Keith Donoghue and COGRYHILL – Jack Kennedy.
SOUPHANOUVAN is our last runner at Wexford in the Bumper, he’s in fine form at home and Luke McGuinness takes of a valuable 7lb.

At Bellewstown our only runner is HOSTILE FIRE in the last with Nina Carberry in the saddle.

Wednesday 29th June

7runners today at Perth – all ridden by Richard Johnson:

JOHN MONASH is up first in the Novice Hurdle, 2nd on his last 2 starts he has shown some improvement of late and we hope he continues to head in the right direction.

WESTERN HOME is next in the Handicap Chase, the Point to Point winner should have no problem with the obstacles and looks to have a great chance here today.

BLAKE DEAN is next in the Handicap Hurdle for the Blended Syndicate. His yard debut was very poor but he’s pleasing at home so we hope he can show his true colours today.

The old faithful RUSSIAN REGENT contests the Handicap Chase, he loves Perth and we hope the course can ignite that spark once again today.

BRAND AMBASSADOR takes on the Handicap Hurdle, his efforts this season have been quite disappointing and we hope he can get back to his best.

SON OF MY HEART makes his yard debut in the Handicap Chase, he’s a huge big handsome horse who joined us a few months back and goes really nicely at home.  He’s been off the track now for just short of a year but we hope for a good run!

PADRE TITO takes on the last, a Handicap Hurdle. He was 2nd here last month beaten by Dubai Shen who he faces again today. The rain Perth are having might go against him but we hope he can get there for his owners the Twenty Times Three Syndicate.

Steady Major has been entered at Wexford on Friday in the Handicap Hurdle.
