Nice to have the sun shining today. We have no runners today, but Gordon is busy hunting for some new recruits at the Doncaster Spring sale this week.
We have 8 runners who travel to Punchestown today: A Shin Impala, Colonel Maximus, Leomar, Skeaping, Quinnsborotemptres, Westland Row, Moonman and Broughtons Star. Fingers crossed for a winner or more.
We have 9 runners in total today, 1 in Cork and 8 in Downpatrick, fingers crossed for some winners and good luck to everyone involved.
3 Runners in Clonmel:
We have MORGAN who is our first runner of the day lining up in the 2mile hurdle race. He ran well on his last outing in Punchestown and hopefully is more than capable of putting it up to his opposition today. Bryan Cooper rides.
MISTAMEL takes his chance in the 3rd race, he ran well after returning from a break the last day and makes his handicap debut today, Bryan Cooper now rides.
VANISHING POINT has made an 2 encouraging starts to his hurdling campaign and hopefully he can go one better today, Davy Russell is in the saddle.
We have 4 runners today in Punchestown:
POTTERS POINT was 5th in a Grade B chase in Punchestown on his last start and he goes to post in the La Touche Restaurant Novices Steeplechase. He is in great form and should appreciate the good ground. Bryan Cooper rides. We have 2 runners in the 2mile Handicap Chase, SHADOW CATCHER has been a little in and out but is more than capable of being in the shake up, he has Davy Russell in the saddle. THIRD OPINION also takes his chance in the same race, a winner on his first start for us over todays trip, hopefully he can make it two wins on the bounce, Jack Kennedy rides. DELTA WORK was an encouraging 2nd on his hurdle debut, we hope he has improved for that run and can possibly go one better today. Bryan Cooper is back on board.
All our runners arrived home safely last night from Killarney. We have no runners today but plenty of entries for the week ahead.
