Meet the team ‘Behind the scenes at Gordon Elliott Racing Club’

Hi everyone!

Just to give you a little info on the ‘behind the scenes’ of the club I myself am Gordon’s racing secretary,
I have been involved in Racing all my life, my Dad Ferdy Murphy is a trainer, now in France. Having previously ridden out, worked in many yards and trained my own Point to Pointers I have now settled into life in the office as well as keeping 2 of
my own horses. As well as general office duties I manage Gordon’s App, website and Facebook page and have done a bit of blogging for twitter #racehour and Paddy Power. Myself and Olly also run the Syndicates in the yard.

Gordon Elliott Racing club

Our brand new racing club aims to provide every member with the complete experience of racehorse ownership, from mornings on the gallops to afternoons on the racecourse. Gordon Elliott Racing Club also offers social activities throughout the season, giving members the chance to mix with other like minded racing enthusiasts. Members receive regular updates on the horses and their progress and gain an insight into the running of the yard and the training of the horses. In addition, members have the opportunies to visit Cullentra Stables and meet the clubs horses and stable stars. When the horses run, opportunities for owners badges are available and where possible, hospitality arrangements at the course are arranged. Full % share of any club prize money earned by the clubs horses (100% of all prize money goes to our members) We currently have 4 club race horses to run in both Ireland and the UK and plan to invest in more as the club grows.
