Every member will be entitled to a share of prize money won by all club horses as well as many other exclusive club benefits.

Membership Benefits

  • Progressive club horses hand-picked for success by Top Irish Trainer Gordon Elliott to race in both Ireland and the UK.

Urtheoneiwant a 6 year old mare by Kayf Tara and looks fantastic, she will continue to run over hurdles and then progress to chasing.Dawerann a 7 year old son of Medicean who was previously in training with Michael Hourigan is proving to be a lovely laid back sort, he really took his move to the yard well and settled in very quickly. He is living in the woodchip paddocks and seems to love it!
Dawerann a 7 year old son of Medicean who was previously in training with Michael Hourigan.

Loose Ends – a good looking 3 year old filly by Authorized who after having a little break is now in full training, she has started her schooling education over barrels and will move on to hurdles at home in the coming days. She stays well on the flat, is pleasing  with her work at home and will run over the festive period. She is very straightforward and an ideal dual purpose filly.

Station Closed – An 8 year old mare by Kutub, a cheap purchase who Gordon thinks we can improve, she has run on ground from good to firm – heavy and we think she’s worth taking a chance with. She will be a little longer off a run than Loose Ends and will run after the New Year.

  • Share the Gordon Elliott Racing Club colours and prize money.  Any prize money won by all the clubs horses during the period of membership is distributed equally amongst the Members.

Great Racing Club to be involved with. Almost daily we get regular updates on the horses. How they are performing on the gallops and where they are entered. Even if you are based in England, like I am, I suggest there are many benefits for joining the Club. I have followed our horses at Lingfield Park and Warwick and they have raced at other courses in England and Scotland. Wow have you ever lead in a winner or been presented with a trophy as the owner. Yes, had that pleasure at Warwick Race Course. Have you ever been to Ireland? Gordon's yard is so easy to access, whether travelling by ferry or flying over. Had the pleasure of attending a Club Open Day, what a yard, never seen anything so immaculate. We had free access to the stables, yes, and we saw the Gold Cup Winner Don Cossack. Even had a photograph with him. We also saw our horses working on the gallops and Gordon gave us a update on there well being. Oh forgot to say about the cost to join the Gordon Elliott Racing Club, £8 per week, unbelievable good value.

Fantastic set up to be involved in, in particular, I was very surprised at how very accessible everyone is and how nice they are!! The fact you can pop in pretty much anytime to the stables to see not just the club horses, but the biggest star in Chasing right now (The mighty Don Cossack) is such a treat. Then their is the club open days, where you can go along and soak up the atmosphere with fellow racing fans and watch the horses out on the gallops! Finally to top it all off you get the amazing experience of being an owner at lots of racecourses around Ireland and the UK! Stepping inside the parade ring, discussing your horse and the plans with the trainer and jockey, welcoming them back in, accessing owners and trainers bars and areas at the track, I could go on and on! All this and I haven't even mentioned yet the regular updates on all the horses and reports from jockeys, Gordon, Olly (assistant trainer), Dean (club manager) and last but least the very helpful and lovely Zoe (racing manager)....I would urge ANYONE who enjoys racing to JOIN UP!!

Joined this racing club on the day it was launched because we wanted the chance to be involved with a top trainer and have a bit of fun as well. This club has certainly delivered on all these points. It is well run, informative and we very much enjoy being a part of it. Gordon runs his horses all over the UK and Ireland so no matter where you are based, there is always a chance of watching a Gordon Elliott runner. The cost is one of the lowest around at the moment and works out at around £8 per week. We have visited several racecourses where the Elliott team have been absolutely great with us and Gordon himself always has time for a chat!!!. If you are thinking of joining, just do it, it's great fun and we love being involved.

I recently joined the GERC and I have to say it's really great. I already feel better informed and better valued than two other syndicates I am a member of. This club is fantastic value too and it's backed up by regular emails from the stables whereas in other syndicates you can feel like you are not important as you only own a tiny bit of one horse and that horse may run only two or three times a year but being a member of the GERC gives you a share in a club which owns 5 horses so it gives you five times the fun as Gordon's horses seem to run more frequently. I would encourage any racing fans to join up as for a minimal cost it will give you a fantastic new experience and a much enhanced day at the races as you get all the same benefits as if you owned a horse outright yet at a fraction of the cost

Never thought I'd be able to get involved with racehorse ownership again but the GERC has given me the chance once more and it's fantastic. Of course we're not going to get any Don Cossack's or stable superstars like him, but for £40 a month, a tenner a week, we currently have three horses in training at Cullentra, with more to follow I expect. Superbly run by Zoe, Olly and Dean, we're continually updated with news of our horses, with a very informative weekly blog and news of declarations and entries when they occur. We enjoyed a stable visit to Gordon's yard in late January and there's another pencilled in for Saturday week, June 11th. As is/was explained when I/we first joined up, this is not a money making exercise and anyone who thinks it is should look elsewhere. For anyone, like me, looking to get involved in the sport with one of the best trainers in the business for a tenner a week, with runners on a weekly basis, get involved. I promise u won't regret it. One of our horses, Dove Mountain, recently won a charity race at Warwick, and finished an encouraging second at Down Royal last Friday evening. A winner in the making without a doubt, and lots of fun to be had with him, Faraway Mountain, Steady Major, and whatever new additions Gordon and Olly get us. Get Involved, be part of it!!!
